I would have to say western animation because not only they are unique in style and stuff but i don't really watch anime anyway.

Anime was inspired from early dinsey cartoons, but later evolved into it's own style of animation. I like western and anime pretty much evenly. The animation quality in anime is pretty poor compared to western animation.
